△odnu / アランベスト(ホワイト) △odnu / アランベスト(ブラック) 「シンプルな手編みの日常着」 インド、ネパールの手編みニットを中心に展開するブランド[odnu(オドゥヌ )] デザイナーの佐藤さんに5つの質問をしました。 ブランドのはじまりときっかけを教えて下さい。 前職で何度かネパールを訪れ、現地の原始的なものづくりにとても魅力を感じました。ネパールには手編みの文化があり生産できることを知っていたので、この国で好きな手編み物が作れたらいいなぁと思ったのがブランドを始めるきっかけとなりました。 インドやネパールの職人さんとの物作りはどんなところが魅力ですか？ 日本人の私には出せない雰囲気を出せるところが魅力です。硬くなくのんびりした感じが作るモノにもあらわれています。インドの職人さんたちは仕事だけど楽しんで作ってくれているところも魅力の一つです。 △odnu / メリノソックス(ホワイト) 商品デザインのインスピレーション元やこだわりはありますか？ シンプルで他の服に合わせやすく、手編みだけど気軽に着れることを大切にデザインしています。 なぜ今あえて手仕事でモノを作るのでしょうか？ 手編みには機械では出せない凹凸感があり、そして自由にデザインできるところが私の性格には合っている気がして。あとはこの技術を絶やしたくないという気持ちもあります。手編みのセーターは1枚編むのに2週間ほどかかってしまいます。かなり効率の悪い生産方法のため、工場がどんどん減少しているのが現状です。しかし２本の棒だけで洋服が作れる技術ってすごいと思うんです。この技術が継続できるようすごく微力ですが貢献できたらと思っています。 △odnu / バルキーヤーンセーター(ブラック)...
