Vento de moe fan made with hatsutoki textile. Using fan bones and parts that are carefully made one by one by Kyoto craftsmen, vent de moe creates free and contemporary fans that are not bound by conventional frameworks, sometimes challenging to create fans that have never been seen before. In the 2018 spring/summer debut, a fresh sense was born in collaboration with hatsutoki.
This model is a special model made of cotton fabric with gold thread that has been dyed with traditional indigo. The cool indigo color is embroidered with summer hemp thread. The name of the product, “Remaining Cider Bubbles,” was given by fan designer Moe Kobayashi. A very charming name that brings back fond memories of my childhood.
"When summer comes, I want to drink cider, but at the end there is a little bit of soda foam, and the sight of people huddling together is cute every year. I want to embroider it with that image in mind. I thought it would be perfect for the blue of the dress, so I embroidered it with light blue hemp thread.”
The thin and delicate yarn-dyed fabrics and hand-made fan ribs are dignified, and while it is a quiet home, it is beautiful as if it is supplely wrapped in the wind. Please note that we only sell one item.
